Spring Cleaning: Tips for Your Bathroom

Your bathroom is the most frequently used room in your house. It is also the most used room in your home.

This article will provide you with some useful tips to give your bathroom a spring clean no matter the season.

Toilet

It is easy to clean the toilet's interior with a toilet cleaner. To remove the bleach, make sure to get below the rim.

Don't forget to clean the outside of your toilet bowl, lid, and flush handle.

Toilet Brush

They are great for getting rid of nasty skid marks on the sides of the pan. They can also get very dirty quickly.

Place the toilet brush into the toilet every other day and then cover it with bleach. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes before flushing the toilet. This will keep your brush clean and free of poo.

Shower curtains

Shower curtains can take quite a beating and quickly become mouldy and covered with dirt.

Regular washing in the washer will keep them clean and germ-free. Double-check the label to make sure it's machine washable. If it is not machine washable, you can give it a bath in the tub.

Baths

A bath can be kept clean by simply washing it with the water from the showerhead after every use. This will help quickly remove dead skin cells, hairs, and other undesirable dirt.

Use a cleaner that is not too rough to avoid damaging the finish.

Taps

Your dirty hands and toothpaste can cause limescale buildup on taps. To keep them sparkling, clean, and shining, use warm water with a bit of washing-up liquid.

Shower heads

Shower heads can accumulate limescale over time. To keep your shower head clean and water flowing freely, use a descaler regularly and scrub your toothbrush with it.

You can poke any holes in the showerhead with a needle and keep them clean.

Grouting

Apply a bleaching solution with care using a toothbrush to remove all grouting.

Allow the bleach to sit for 30 minutes, then rinse off with water.
